Arwen
Say hi to Arwen! Arwen started about 5 years ago, cleaning up behind Jacque, carrying buckets, processing hundreds of roses, and finally learning how to design. She has a true love for flowers but her real love is being a mom. The team is so excited to have a De Bloem baby running around the studio! Arwen is a natural mom as she has nannied for years. But flowering has always given her a creative outlet Her nurturing spirit allows her to put clients first and she makes sure the small details are always taken care of.
Nevaeh
Meet Nevaeh. She’s been slinging buckets of flowers for the last 5 years. But in total she’s been around the flower biz for over 8 years. Being a natural creative herself, she’s been known to dabble in sketch art, paintings, and Dance. She’s the middle child child of Jac and Chris and has learned how to flower by shadowing Jac through out her journey of building De Bloem Co from the ground up. When she’s not designing, she’s teaching dance at her home studio where she herself trained in all types of genres of dance. She is a light in dark places and makes everyone feel loved and excepted.
Chris
Put your hands together for the man, the legend… Chris Ford. He is quite literally the back bone of De Bloem Co. He is Jacques biggest supporter and holds up the admin and financial side of the business. When he is not “flowering”, he is at the firehouse. Chris became a fireman at age 18 in the Air Force shortly before running off and eloping with Jacque in 1998. He is now a Fire Captain for Camp Pendleton Fire Department. Chris saw years ago that Jacque had a love and talent for floral design and pushed her to open De Bloem Co. He loves running a family business and is always so thankful for the clients who trust Jacque with one of the most important days of their lives. On days he is not on duty, he is along for the ride with the team. Moving buckets, building structures, loading and unloading hauls, and making sure the girls are fed!
